Type of Business:

VCGMG has been in practice providing quality, specialized medical care for over 25 years. Dr.’s John C. Billesdon and Jack S. Rotenberg founded the practice in 1975-76, and Dr. Paul M. Sanchez later joined the Gastroenterological team in 1983. All three physicians are board-certified Internal Medicine fellows with a specialty in Digestive diseases.

Mission Statement:

VCGMG strives to provide our patients with superior medical care and the informational tools necessary to make well-informed decisions that allow patients to take a proactive role in their individual medial treatment.

Competition:

You maybe surprised at the emphasis we place on educating each patient about his or her medical problems and treatment. However, we know that the more a patient knows about his/her disorder, the better the results. So, all patients receive printed information about their diseases, diet, and drugs.

Comfort:

We particularly dislike making patients wait and we do everything we can to conserve your time.

Professionals:

John C. Billesdon, MD, Jack S. Rotenberg, MD, and Paul M. Sanchez, MD, and their staff operate as a team. Our nurses are highly proficient in outlining physician prescribed therapy, and explaining medical disorders, diseases, and preparations for testing.

Family Doctor:

Since our role is to provide specialized care in Gastroenterology, you will still need your family doctor or personal doctor for other medical problems. After your evaluation here, you will be referred back to your primary care physician. If you need regular treatment by a Gastroenterology, we will continue to manage your Gastroenterology problem with your physician’s approval. We will provide regular detailed reports to insure the best care and communications.

Second Opinions:

Occasionally, a medical problem is unique or rare. Their maybe questions about the best approach to a disorder. Under these circumstances, we are anxious to get additional opinions from whoever and wherever will best serve each patient.
